10th Essex Officers - Christmas 1915
At Christmas 1915 the 10th Essex were based out of the front line in Corbie.
After Church Parade, Christmas Day was celebrated in excellent spirit with stew and then Christmas pudding washed down with plenty of liquid refreshment!
Boxing day saw an inter Divisional football match which was won by the 10th Essex and more festivities featuring CSM Mercer and QMS Jaggs.
Life returned to normal on 28th December 1915 when the Battalion marched to Albert and then back into the front line
