10th Essex - Officers embarking for France 1915

In July 1915 the 10th Essex were reviewed by King George V in their Wiltshire Camp at Codford St Mary near to Stonehenge and a few days later embarked for France.
The transport and machine guns under the command of Major C M Wheatley travelled to Le Havre via Southampton while the main body travelled from Folkestone to Boulogne.
