The National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas, Staffordshire is the UK's year-round centre of Remembrance; a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice, and fosters pride in our country. It is a living and lasting memorial.
National Memorial Arboretum - Essex Regiment
The 150 acres are landscaped with 50,000 trees creates an ever changing landscape to highlight the 200 memorials, mainly to armed service but also to the emergency services and other civilians who have died in service to their country. The Arboretum is a charity run by staff and volunteers is part of the Royal British Legion and is open to visitors daily.
