Southend Borough Constabulary Memorial
A memorial to the members of the
Southend on Sea Constabulary which died in the Great war is
erected on a tablet outside Southend on Sea Police Station.
Two of the men belonged to the Essex Regiment.
Sgt H Guiver and Private G C Shipgood.
The other Officers were
Sgt G T Brenchley of the Grenadier Guards
L Sergeant A Wilson of the Rifle Brigade
Corporal C W Gillings of the Black Watch
Gunner H B Mann of the Royal Horse Artillery
Gunner P G Saban of the Royal Horse Artillery
