19th v 22nd Essex Volunteer Rifles - Shooting Match 1862
In September 1862 a shooting
competition took place at the High Beech Range of the 22nd West
Essex Rifles.
The spectators included Sir William
Bowen, Major Bullen, Captain Arkwright, Captain Leask, Captain
Gifford, Captain Rigg, Lt Hoskins, Lt Bulmer and Lt Chaplin.
