Western Front Association - Essex Branch
The Western Front Association was formed in 1980 to maintain interest in the Great War and to perpetuiatethe memory of all sides of the conflict.
The WFA does provide members with access to a number of Great War resources including the unique pension records index and organise visits and tours to military related destinations.
There is an active Essex Branch which holds monthly meetings with a speaker on a Great War topic.
These meetings are held alternately at Hatfield Peverel Village Hall , Maldon Road, Hatfield Peverel, CM3 2HP and the Poppy Lounge, Legion House, 205 High Street, Hornchurch RM11 3XT,
